Our History gives a clear clarification towards the reason behind the wide gap. In the life style of rural & border areas people in comparison to the urban or semi-urban populace. Since independence, many initiatives have been taken in the different parts of our country to make the gap reduce between the respected areas. Bithari Disha is committed to arrange shelter, habitation health and hygiene for the oppressed persons, children and women. Activities are moreover concerned with the human feeling and to come forward for the help for destitute girls and ostracized women. Our objective is wide enough to provide minimum and suitable education, Vocational including academic with a view to achieve sustainable development of the economically and socially depressed section of people. Presently organizations mostly focus to reduce future crisis of safe drinking water

Agriculture Initiative

Welcome to the Agriculture Initiative, a visionary project dedicated to fostering sustainable agricultural practices and enhancing rural livelihoods. Our mission is to promote a holistic approach to farming that integrates environmental stewardship, economic viability, and social responsibility.

Livelihood Initiative

In our area a major issue is migration and trafficking. So we are working on livelihood in our area where we will majorly focus on local handicraft works and promote them for there up liftmen. Establish the lack of livelihood options for villagers living in villages trapped in between international border on one hand and water body on another side with no or little land to cultivate. Document villagers engaging in local handicrafts. Establish providing better livelihood projects as the fundamental solution to tackle migration and trafficking.

Education Initiative

The objective and basic purpose of giving education to a society, community, children and youth is for holistic development of life, as well as skill impart like skills for survival mentally, physically to face different kind of situation in life with an intent to choose an appropriate livelihood option in future until death. So, we piloted with 10 Govt. Primary Schools for the environmental betterment. We also started connecting community, Gram Panchayat and school Staff and Students on regular basis for school development work. Our main focus is on learning by doing method and connecting text books to environment.

Sanitation Initiative

From last 10 years we are working on sanitation work. In coming years we will continue it. Our scope of improvement will be on time frame, need to finish work on time. Till now we worked on all institutional sanitation, household sanitation, etc.

Water Initiative

As we all know our District North 24 Parganas is a high zone of Arsenic but with the collaboration and support of West Bengal Government and other foreign agencies, we initiated the Water Treatment Plant. On regular basis we are providing tests report of water and providing safe drinking water to the people. On coming years we will work on its scale and reach out to the people
